Terms of Service
Covers rigverse.net, the RigVerse app and Rig Tuner. Last updated 18 August 2026.
Agreeing to these terms
By creating a RigVerse account or using our apps, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you are using RigVerse on behalf of a band or an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
Your account
You need to be at least 13 years old to hold an account. Give us accurate information when you sign up, keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account. What happens under your account is your responsibility.
Rig Tuner does not require an account. Every tuning it offers works without one.
What it costs
Rig Tuner is free, with no subscription, no trial and nothing held back behind a purchase. If we ever introduce paid features anywhere in RigVerse, we will say so clearly before you are asked to pay for anything.
Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of everything you put into RigVerse — your gear entries and photos, your posts and answers, your messages, and the audio you upload to Studio. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only as far as running the service requires: to separate a track into stems, to show your listing to a buyer, to deliver your message to its recipient.
Only upload audio you have the right to upload. Separating a commercial recording into stems for your own practice is one thing; redistributing the result is another, and it is your responsibility to stay on the right side of that line.
Acceptable use
Do not use RigVerse to harass, threaten or impersonate anyone. Do not post content you have no right to post. Do not list stolen equipment, misrepresent what you are selling, or use the service to defraud anyone. Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to our systems, and do not scrape the service in bulk.
We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
Dealing with other people
Where the marketplace is available, RigVerse is a place for buyers and sellers to find one another. Any transaction is between the two of you. We do not inspect, authenticate, insure or take payment for the equipment listed, and we are not a party to your deal. Meet safely, and check what you are buying.
Valuations are estimates
Gear valuations are generated from market data and are estimates only. They are not a professional appraisal, not an insurance determination and not financial advice. Do not rely on one as the sole basis for insuring, buying or selling an instrument.
Service as it is
We work to keep RigVerse running and accurate, but we provide it as it is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that stem separation will produce a particular result for a particular track. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Keep your own copies of anything that matters to you. RigVerse is not a backup service.
Ending it
You can stop using RigVerse and delete your account at any time — see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to.
Changes and governing law
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use RigVerse after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the courts of California will hear any dispute arising from them.
